7 Steps to FOREVER [Extension]

- Children of GOD -

Think of parents' relationship with their children (children must obey the parents). When sharing the Gospel with others, it might be more impactful if the correlation to earthly parents can be made that GOD is the FATHER of all true believers; whereas HE is not the father of those who don't truly believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ (which includes obedience to his commands):

* GOD is CREATOR of all mankind. We're all created in the 'image of GOD'.
   [Genesis 1:26-27]

* GOD is FATHER of believers only (all true believers are now children of GOD).
   [John 1:12-13, Galatians 3:26]

* GOD wants his children to believe in Jesus Christ for Eternal Salvation (obedience).
   [John 3:16]

* Jesus Christ says to 'believe in' Him means to follow his ways and obey his teachings.
   [John 10:27, John 8:12, John 12:26, 1 Peter 1:14-16]

* Children of GOD still suffer earthly consequences for any rebelling against GOD's Law.
   [Proverbs 11:30-31]

* All other people become enemies of GOD... as they belong to the world (ruled by Satan).
   [James 4:4]

* All true believers (children of GOD) are brothers and sisters with each other.
   [Matthew 12:50, Mark 3:35]

* Everybody on this earth is our 'neighbor': brothers and sisters, as well as unbelievers.
   [Luke 10:29-37]

* GOD will protect his children against the enemy by giving us his Word, the Son, and Holy Spirit; but we must still be ready to face our battles too.
   [1 John 5:18, 1 Peter 5:6-11]

* GOD will allow evil to befall on his children and unbelievers alike (on this earth), but will eventually save his children (Eternal Life) ... and eject all unbelievers (Eternal Death).
   [Matthew 5:44-45]
